Exclusive: West Ham set for £1billion income as Olympic Stadium move begins to pay off
The £200million a season they expect to make after moving into the Olympic Stadium next season will buy them a seat alongside the biggest and richest clubs in the world.

And barring unforeseen disasters - and bumper transfer payouts - they are likely to have that £1billion to play with by 2021.

Although at least £30million is already earmarked for a new striker in the summer, West Ham are just five months away from jumping aboard a gravy train that will transform their fortunes in one fell swoop.

Full details of the deal with the London Legacy Development Corporation have yet to be revealed, but the benefits to the Hammers are certain to dwarf the basic £15million a season rent they have agreed to pay to play at the new stadium for the next 99 years.

I think you're both partially correct, if I may?

Half empty, soulless, concrete bowl was the full bifta. Well, it was until the club let everyone know we were going to sell out.

Half empty?

Does it hold 120,000?

Can't we just extend the East Stand and fill in the corners? 42000 would be plenty for a club like ours instead of moving to a half-empty bowl.

I don't know why anyone buys papers anymore, they're a pile of shit.

We don't have any England players, so you're saying OPPOSITION will be inspired when playing us?

It's obvious that the running track inspired the English team last night.

It's all good.

And we could have hosted our own events.

And not had a fucking great big running track round our pitch.

So if we had stayed and made the ground 45k it wouldn't make a lot of difference in match day revenue

Another win for us Druids
